Got LYXe?
The migration bridge has become available to migrate LYXe for LYX on LUKSO Mainnet.
GM LUKSOFam ☕️,
This is The LUKSO Lense, the newsletter in which we focus on the LUKSO Ecosystem and follow the latest developments in the space. 🔍
Got LYX✂️e?
Discovery month is over, and the migration bridge has become available to migrate LYXe for LYX on LUKSO Mainnet⛓️🤝⛓️. This is an exciting new step and brings us closer to being able to use our Universal Profiles on the LUKSO blockchain!
Originally planned for July 4th, there was a bug discovered by Vad from universal.page. He collaborated with the LUKSO team to identify the issue, which was fortunately only present in the CLI. The issue has since been resolved, but this caused a delay in the migration process, requiring Genesis Validators to upgrade their clients. However, the migration has now officially commenced just a few days later!
Do you have some LYXe? Migrate them over to receive LYX! The process is super easy. You can do that here: https://migrate.lukso.network/

NOWNodes integrates LUKSO
Some other great news, NOWNodes helps builders access LUKSO’s ecosystem with LUKSO Full Node, a quick-start solution to creating next-generation dApps that will shape the future of the new creative economies.
Track your LUKSO withdrawal history
Vlad launched a great new tool: LYX.tools
It will give you valuable insights into your LUKSO blockchain transactions by aggregating and visualizing your withdrawal history. You can explore your daily balances and monitor your rewards effortlessly with this intuitive web app. A perfect tool for all LUKSO validators!
NFT use case of the week
Last time we discussed the use cases for NFTs 2.0 in ticketing. This week we grab the “Music” part from the article “Exploring the Power of NFTs 2.0: Use Cases to spark your excitement.”
Music
NFTs have the potential to revolutionize several aspects of the music industry. For instance, musicians can use NFTs as concert tickets, providing opportunities for long-term engagement with their fans. Additionally, NFTs can be utilized for token-gated music, as demonstrated by the partnership between Moonbirds and Spotify. Moonbirds holders can access the Moonbirds playlist by connecting their wallets, creating a new experience with a famous Web2 brand.
Moreover, NFTs can help upcoming and indie musicians cultivate a dedicated fan base and earn a living. For example, Sound.xyz is one platform that supports artists using web3-native music and economic tools, including NFTs, to enhance artist-fan connections and create unique listening experiences. Artists can sell limited edition NFTs of their songs, and buyers can receive special community access as perks.
As AI-generated music emerges, artists could allow their voices to be used in AI-generated songs, provided they receive royalties. NFTs 2.0 can store dynamic data and efficiently manage flexible royalties settings on-chain. The NFT 2.0 marketplace Universal Page provides a simple user interface for specifying different receiving addresses and their corresponding percentages. These flexible on-chain settings are ideal for handling AI-generated music royalties, allowing artists to “rent out” their voice while ensuring fair compensation for all creators involved.
NFTs enable artists and song creators to connect with their audience, offer rewards, and handle royalties. As AI-generated music gains popularity in this world with numerous intermediaries, NFTs could play a critical role in the future of the music industry.
